sun-date with sophie
yaya arlyn had her day off yesterday so i had the chance to bond with sophie the whole day. the hubby joined the run with the masters so i was left at home with the little one. ohgosh! putting sophie to her morning nap practically drained me. sobrang likot to the highest level! by the time the hubby arrived, she was up na. wahhh! ayoko naman to just stay at home so we decided to take her out instead.
here she is playing while we wait for daddy to finish his facial thingy.
i had to stop her or else hindi sya mag milk and i was also trying to put her to her afternoon nap but her attention kasi super glued to all the kids around the place and the colorful balls in front of her. naremind tuloy ako to enlist her at gymboree na. she likes talaga playing with kids eh. she really is very friendly and pleasant. anyways, here she is naman right after mapagod kakaikot. feeling ko antok na sya talaga. kawawa pero ang cute cute, sobra!

look how serious she is while driving! haha. this was during traffic ha approaching nlex tollgate bound for manila. she really really wanted to hold the steering wheel eh with matching side look sa rearview mirror! seryoso diba? taking her driving skills whole heartedly. mana mana lang yan talaga. haha.

the hubby had his usual run at high street so while waiting for him to finish, i asked the yaya to play with sophie near the fountain while i window shopped (or not?) at make room. yay! oh, i love, love, love it there! i am such a sucker of storage boxes talaga!
you see, the last time i was there, i bought like, 30 pcs of shoe boxes, 10 for russel and 20 for myself. i have actually more than 20 pairs but i gave them away na kasi sayang lang because hindi ko sya nagagamit. first i was super happy because feeling ko, organized masyado haha but then i realized, the boxes were taking too much space eh super small lang ng condo so we kept them all at the roofdeck and left those we always use under the bed. kaloka lang because the helper always ends up arranging all the shoes under the bed, like, everyday. so parang ang toxic naman for her. i have been planning on getting an under bed shoe storage but nalilimutan ko parati until now.
the moment i stepped in, alam ko na what i wanted to buy, so focused na ako. haha. even if all the stuff were screaming at me na buy me, buy me! deadma lang. haha. hindi ko likes those bulky storage, i wanted something simple, easy to clean and matibay. i have asked the make room girl if they have what i wanted and she said they have it naman daw so off we went to the second floor and i found this:
see? diba, perfect! sabi it can hold at least 16 pairs, eh hello? hubby has a big feet so feeling ko his shoes would require more space diba, that is why i bought two. i immediately paid for it na, as in ayoko na mag stay ng matagal inside because i am starting to show weakness na i almost buy those cute cute kitchen stuff eh ayaw ko nga gumastos! wahhh! hay nako. haha. ohwell, i was able to get out of the store naman carrying just one bag. thank you, lord! look na the storage thingie with our shoes inside.

hello, summer!
yayyy! summer is here! wooot! ohgosh. i can't wait to have our family summer getaway! i am really really hoping and praying that it pushes through, though. super exciting because si sophie talaga can appreciate na outdoor activities eh. she likes going to the mall, ganyan, basta anything na open space, she really likes na. feeling ko this summer is sooo goona be worth it -- reagardless of the gastos and all. hopefully, matuloy.
grabe, almost all the groupon sites are now offering getaway deals and honestly, nakaka-tempt talaga. the best so far is what deal grocer is offering. i am this close on buying the misibis and el nido deals! oh my goodness! i dread the gastos but i really really really wanna buy! but before that, i need to see this whole summer thingy happen first eh, i would be in a roll na after that. lol.
so, going back to the summer getaway thingie -- you wanna know where we are going? we are going here!!!
